Do you have a favorite lacrosse player?
Growing up, I followed Cathy Nelson (now Cathy Reese) at Maryland because I knew her from when I was a middle schooler and she was in high school, and she coached me in Hero’s summer league. As a middle schooler, I thought she was awesome because she played for the famous Mt. Hebron program AND because she had crimped hair.
Who is your all-time favorite athlete?
Pretty obscure, but I always admired Jonathan Wallace. He was a point guard for Georgetown from 2005 to 2008. He was the smallest starter on a team of big men, but he always made an impact. (I am only 5’2" so I identify with shorties.) He’s probably best known for hitting a three-pointer in the 2007 Elite Eight versus UNC to force overtime and put Georgetown in the Final Four. His three-point shooting and foul shooting was impeccable. He was technically a walk-on, and he started every game of his college career.
Do you have any hidden talents?

What’s one thing most people would not know about you?
My grandfather played lacrosse at the University of Maryland in the 1920s.
Where in the world would you like to take a two-week-long, all-expense-paid vacation?
China. I’ve never been to Asia, and I think China is going to play an ever-increasing role in international affairs, so I’d love to go over there and see it for myself.
