Not until college, when I was looking for a new athletic endeavor having chosen the school over my favorite sport, field hockey. Some people said "Field hockey players make good lacrosse players," and I got hooked.

What do you like most about lacrosse?
The ongoing challenge of mastering its techniques and the complexity of orchestrating 12 bodies into a fluid team effort.

What’s your hometown?
Allentown, Pa.

What sports do you play/did you used to play?
Field hockey, lacrosse, tennis, running.

What’s your ideal Saturday?
Sleeping in until 10, going for a good run and eating a guilt-free dinner at one of Baltimore’s great restaurants.

Where in the world (or out of this world) would you like to take a two-week-long, all-expense-paid vacation?
London, England.
