Established to acknowledge significant service to women's lacrosse by an amateur member, the recipient is selected from nominations submitted by May 1 of each year to a committee composed of US Lacrosse Women's Game officers. Nominees should have held office for two years and should have a cumulative record of service to US Lacrosse. The inaugural Nancy Chance Award was presented posthumously to Jane Vache, player, first U.S. Squad coach and active officer from 1957-1960. |
