If you played lacrosse, when and how were you introduced to the game?
My brothers and sister played and I almost gave up softball to play. However, when I started at USL, my co-workers encouraged me to give it a try. I played goalie in the Mid Atlantic Women’s League for about 6 years. I got to play with and against some of the best players in the country - future hall of famers.

What is the name of your favorite lacrosse team (any level)? Why?
Manchester Valley Mavericks, because my older brother, John, is the varsity boys coach and my nephew Aidan is a goalie on the JV team.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete?
Do I have to pick one? The U.S. Women’s National Team – they are all such amazing athletes. I have such respect for their talent and dedication. They are true ambassadors of the sport. Stephen Berger – he’s my partner in crime in the office and one heck of an athlete whether playing lacrosse or any of the other sports he plays recreationally.

What sports do you play/did you used to play?
Once upon a time I was a three-sport athlete – soccer, basketball and softball. Now I just play basketball.

What song is playing on your iPod now?
Believe it or not, I don’t own one. I love music, but I generally listen to CDs or the radio at home or in my car.

Where in the world would you like to take a two-week-long, all-expense-paid vacation?
Ireland and Sweden. I have a fascination with the Irish culture and I’m Swedish, so I’d love to spend some time in both of those countries.
