NEW YORK, N.Y. — Two-time defending champion Taylor Moreno leads a roster of the top lacrosse players in the world featured in Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse season four, which will return to USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland from July 18-August 11.

As of today, 32 athletes have signed on to compete this summer, including two-time defending World Champions, Marie McCool and Meg Douty, and three-time AU Pro Lacrosse medalist, Sam Apuzzo. Former collegiate stars Ally Mastroianni and Charlotte North are among nine former NCAA Division-I National Champions on this season’s roster. Abby Bosco, 2023 Rookie of the Year and reigning Defensive Player of the Year will also return to defend her crown. The current 2024 roster can be found below.

Season tickets are available now at auprosports.com. 12 of the AU Pro Lacrosse games will be available live exclusively on ESPN linear platforms, with distribution for the remainder to be announced at a later date. The full schedule for the 2024 AU Pro Lacrosse season, along with the remainder of the 56-player roster will be announced at a later date, at which point individual tickets will also be available.

AU Pro Lacrosse will look to add to the roster by drafting 16 of the top NCAA players in the 2024 Lacrosse College Draft airing May 8 at 7:00 p.m. ET on the @AUProSports YouTube channel. Those drafted will be invited to join contracted returnees and free agents in the 2024 AU Pro Lacrosse season.

Like its other leagues, AU Pro Lacrosse features a range of scoring innovations to bring athletes and fans a unique and intense version of the sport. Individual athletes earn points based on both team wins and individual performance to become the champions in team sports.

Points are earned on every play and the leaderboard will change constantly. In addition, teams change each week with the top four athletes in the standings serving as captains and drafting their teams. At the end of the four-week season, the player with the most points is crowned as the league’s individual champion.

The 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse season will feature updates to the scoring system and on-field rules, designed to emphasize safety, clean up the game visually, prioritize elite skills and quality of play, and improve the game flow. More detail on these new rule changes can be found here.

AU Pro Lacrosse is part of Athletes Unlimited, which was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in 2023 and features an Advisory Board comprised of an illustrious group of high-profile contributors from the worlds of sports, business and entertainment including softball icons Jessica Mendoza and Cat Osterman, basketball legend Sheryl Swoopes, U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team superstar Abby Wambach; and two-time NBA champion and entrepreneur Kevin Durant, among many others.

“In our fourth season of Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse, we are excited to shine a brilliant light on professional women's lacrosse, powered by Olympic dreams and the growing excitement for the sport,” said Abi Jackson, Director of Lacrosse for Athletes Unlimited. “This season fans can expect revamped rules that focus on player safety, consistency of officiating and a faster flow of play, including the introduction of a “restricted area” within the 8m key. Our 2024 draft will feature the very best of the biggest names in college lacrosse, and we can’t wait to see them shine on the brightest stage of women’s lacrosse.

"We’re excited for another summer of Athletes Unlimited at USA Lacrosse,” USA Lacrosse CEO Marc Riccio said. “The game, the athletes and the fan experience are fantastic.
