Defending NCAA champions Maryland, Limestone and Salisbury are the top-ranked teams in the USILA preseason coaches polls, which were released Tuesday.

Maryland, which ended a 42-year NCAA title drought in 2017, came in atop the Division I ranking. Duke, ranked No. 1 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Preseason Top 20 and also in the Face-Off Yearbook Preseason Top 25, is No. 2 in the coaches poll. Albany, Denver and Yale round out the USILA top five.

In Division II, it’s Limestone in the top spot, followed by NCAA runner-up Merrimack, Le Moyne, Adelphi and Pace.

In Division III, the top tier starts with Salisbury, then Wesleyan, RIT, Denison and York.
