The 2020 US Lacrosse Boys’ Youth and NFHS Boys’ High School rules webinars are now available for free viewing on the US Lacrosse website. The webinars were hosted by US Lacrosse last month and intended to provide clarification about the new rule changes and points of emphasis for the 2020 season.

Both webinars can be accessed online at uslacrosse.org/rules/boys-rules

“Having these recordings available is an excellent benefit to coaches and officials, who can review all of the rule changes and points of emphasis well ahead of the 2020 season,” said Rick Lake, men’s lacrosse director at US Lacrosse.

The next rules session will be at the US Lacrosse Convention (LaxCon) set for January 10-12 in Philadelphia, with additional presentations on the high school and youth rules. The LaxCon sessions will feature a review of the rules changes and points of emphasis, and include a Q-and-A session focusing on the most asked questions from coaches and officials from around the country.

Those with questions that they would like to have answered before the start of the 2020 season should send an email to boysrules@uslacrosse.org with the subject heading “2020 Rules Question”.

US Lacrosse encourages officials and boys’ youth and high school coaches to participate. The most frequently submitted questions will be answered during the LaxCon rules sessions.

US Lacrosse and the NFHS have a strong partnership in the rule development process and are both deeply committed to the growth of lacrosse. Each group is represented on the other’s rule committees to ensure that there is a commonality with the high school and youth rulebooks.
