Lehigh University head coach Kevin Cassese presented on how to build a lacrosse program at the 2015 US Lacrosse Convention. Watch the nine-segment series below from the US Lacrosse YouTube channel.

Cassese, who also was an assistant coach for the 2014 U.S. Men’s National Team, talked at length during the one-hour session on his journey from interim coach at Duke University, to becoming one of the youngest head coaches in the country at a Lehigh University program that was searching for an identity, to leading the Mountain Hawks to back-to-back Patriot League titles and a perennial place in the national top 20.

The playlist includes segments on building an identity, establishing goals and standards, serving your players’ emotional health, and perhaps most important to Cassese, culture.
