SPARKS, Md. — Steve Stenersen, CEO of US Lacrosse, will be one of the panelists on the opening session of a four-part webinar series from the Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) entitled “COVID Risk Playbook.”

Session 1, “Youth Sports — What is the Medical Risk for Returning to Play & Spectate,” takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 21., at 1 p.m. (Eastern). Complimentary registration is available.

The session will be moderated by Dr. Michael Anderson, pediatric intensivist with Aveska. Joining Stenersen on the panel will be the CEOs of two other national governing bodies — Skip Gilbert (U.S. Youth Soccer) and Scott Hallenbeck (USA Football) — and Dr. Margot Putukian.

Putukian is the director of athletic medicine, head team physician and assistant director of medical services for Princeton University. She is also the chief medical officer for Major League Soccer and has been a longtime US Lacrosse volunteer. She is a past chair of the US Lacrosse Sports Science & Safety Committee and a team physician for numerous U.S. national teams, most recently the 2018 U.S. men’s team that won a world championship in Netanya, Israel.

The COVID Risk Playbook webinars will run each Wednesday for a four-week period.
