US Lacrosse has extended the postponement and/or cancellation of all its events through the month of June due to continuing health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The postponements include the following events:

  • US Lacrosse TryLax events
  • US Lacrosse Sankofa clinics
  • Regional player evaluations for the National Team Development Program
  • All events on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse headquarters

The cancellation of the regional player evaluations for the National Team Development Program means that all preliminary evaluations will be done via a virtual application process. Players will be selected from their online submissions for the national combine, scheduled for August at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.

As of this time, two major July events are still scheduled to take place as planned. The US Lacrosse Nationals, featuring 13U and 14U boys’ and girls’ youth teams from around the country, is slated for July 17-19, 2020 at United Sports in Downingtown, Pa.

Tryouts for the 2021 U.S. women’s national team are scheduled for July 29-31, 2020 at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.

Given the fluid nature of this situation, US Lacrosse will continue to monitor information from the CDC, as well as state and local public health authorities, and will provide additional updates to the lacrosse community ongoing.
