This Thursday, April 16, US Lacrosse will host the first in a series of three webinars intended to provide coaches, program leaders, and parents with educational content that raises awareness about child abuse prevention and safety.

The second and third webinars will be on April 23 and April 30. Each webinar is scheduled for 45 minutes, which includes time for a live Q&A session. The webinars are presented in conjunction with the national designation of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Registration for each of these webinars is required but is free of charge. Maximum registration for each webinar via GoToWebinars is 500 participants. US Lacrosse membership is not required.

Through its national SafeSport campaign, US Lacrosse is committed to the safety and well-being of all lacrosse athletes and to the creation of the safest possible sports environment.

Erik Mineo and Alexis Brandolini, founders of Alpha Echo Project and presenters at the 2020 US Lacrosse SafeSport Symposium earlier this year, will serve as facilitators for the webinars. Their objective is to help attendees to cultivate a greater sense of self and environmental awareness to ensure that child abuse has no place in lacrosse.
