The NFHS classification of boys' lacrosse as "high-risk" for COVID-19 transmission is not supported by data and the US Lacrosse Sports Science & Safety Committee has recommended boys' and girls' lacrosse both be included in the "moderate-risk" category. US Lacrosse is continuing efforts to have the organization, and others that have mirrored the decision, to reconsider.
