Diversity scholarships are intended to provide funds to deserving lacrosse leaders who require financial assistance in order to pursue professional development opportunities in coaching. Eligible coaches include those who provide lacrosse programming for underserved or underrepresented youth. 

Roc E6, a member of the US Lacrosse Urban Lacrosse Alliance (ULA) based in the Rochester, N.Y. area, had the opportunity to participate in the Shootout for Soldiers event at Canadaigua Academy in late July.

US Lacrosse names Molly Olney of Seattle, Washington and Audra Tosone of Walpole, Massachusetts as the recipients of 2019 Michael Breschi Scholarships.

In its continued efforts to grow the game, US Lacrosse is now accepting applications for its National Diversity Grant Program, which provides resources to local groups and organizations to support lacrosse opportunities among non-traditional participants. Applications will be accepted through September 15, 2019.

With an assist from US Lacrosse and budding interest in the game in Florida, the sky is the limit for the St. Petersburg Dragons youth program.

US Lacrosse has named Tom Flatley and Agnes “Aggie” Stegmuller (posthumous) as the recipients of the organization’s 2019 Lifetime Achievement Awards, recognizing outstanding career contributions and impact to the sport of lacrosse. 

Years from now, the name Makena Carter may become synonymous with the emergence of high school lacrosse in the Los Angeles Unified School District. As a senior this past spring at Hamilton High School, she is believed to be the first LAUSD lacrosse player to received a college lacrosse scholarship. 

US Lacrosse today announced the boys’ and girls’ players selected as 2019 US Lacrosse High School All-Americans and All-Academic Team members. Over 1,200 boys and 1,300 girls players were recognized for their efforts on and off the field.

Major League Lacrosse announced a comprehensive partnership with US Lacrosse that will focus on growing the game of lacrosse through community focused initiatives.
