Israel Announced as Host of 2018 FIL Men's World Championship

Israel was today officially announced as the host nation for the 2018 FIL Men’s World Lacrosse Championships. In a special press conference Netanya Mayor, Miriam Feirberg-Ikar and Chairman of the Israel Lacrosse Association (ILA), Scott Neiss, unveiled that Israel’s city of Netanya will host the sport’s pinnacle competition that will include 50 participating countries and more than 5,000 fans from all over the world between July 12-21, next summer.

Tryout Candidates Named for 2018 U.S. Men's Team

SPARKS, Md. — US Lacrosse has named 59 players that have been selected to try out for the 2018 U. S. Men’s National Team. The first round of tryouts will be held July 10-12 at the new U.S. national teams training center at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.

Following the initial round of tryouts, U.S. head coach John Danowski and his staff will follow up with additional tryouts and training weekends at US Lacrosse on the weekends of Sept. 1-4 and Oct. 6-9.
