Grant Process
All organizations seeking grant or service support, regardless of the amount or type requested, are required to follow the steps below. This 3-stage process will reduce the effort needed to apply for one or more grants and give each applicant group the best chance of success.
STAGE 1
(Step 1) DETERMINE ELIGIBLILTY
Before submitting a proposal form, applicants must review US Lacrosse grant guidelines and requirements to determine eligibility.
(Step 2) SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FORM
All organizations seeking funding, regardless of the amount or type requested, are required to submit an online Proposal Form. All forms are reviewed in detail by a panel of US Lacrosse Headquarters staff and Regional Directors.
On or before the notification deadline, applicants will receive one of two responses via email:
- A notice of acceptance containing additional information and corresponding Grant agreements.
- A brief explanation of why a grant or service was not awarded.
STAGE 2
(Step 3) GRANT AGREEMENT
If awarded, granting requirements and stipulations are outlined in a Grant Agreement. These agreements serve as contracts between US Lacrosse and the grantee. Links to corresponding agreements are included in the notification email and must be completed digitally. Signed agreements and required attachments must be on file before a grant can be fulfilled.
STAGE 3
(Step 4) DELIVERABLES
Upon receipt of related Grant Agreements and attachments, US Lacrosse will begin the fulfillment process (equipment ordering, confirmations emailed, clinics scheduled, etc.).
(Step 5) REPORTING
Dependent upon the type and size of grant, reporting requirements may vary. US Lacrosse will communicate expected reporting in the emailed grant decision and notification.
